Build, check, and distribute a seating plan

The generator follows a three-step workflow: prepare students, map rooms and rules, then review and export the result.

01

Add students

For a simple plan, enter the student count and first roll number. For richer rules, import a CSV or XLSX file. Supported headings include Student Name, Roll Number, Registration Number, Course, Department, Semester, Subject, Exam, and Batch.

02

Configure rooms

Add each room, set rows and columns, then mark special positions in the visual editor. Clicking a position cycles through available, disabled, reserved, aisle, teacher desk, entrance, and back to available.

03

Select rules

Sequential fills in list order. Alternate places alternating roll numbers first. Department, subject, and batch strategies interleave groups. Custom lets you choose course or semester too. The empty-seat option is applied only while enough capacity remains.

04

Review and export

Read every allocation note before use. Search individual candidates, switch between operational views, export a CSV or text-based PDF, print the visible sheet, or save a JSON backup for transfer.
